It's on the River
A Mississippi River eatery located close to the Illinois, Quad Cities in Port Byron.

It's on the River is a family owned business that opened August of 2007. Situated on the Illinois bank of the Mississippi River in Port Byron, the view is unmatched. The owner's love of the river and passion for food has been perfectly paired into a unique dining experience.

Our outside patio gets full sun all day and provides a front row seat to a beautiful river sunset. Sit by the fireplace in the leather loungers in the winter and watch bald eagles fish from the ice chunks as they float down the river. 

Or you can always pull up on your boat. It's on the River has a 30 x 105 foot cantilevered boat dock with handmade picnic tables and umbrellas. Come on inside to cool off, and we can sell beer to go.  We are located in pool 14 across from LeClaire, Iowa and a mile or so from Lock and Dam 14 and just outside the channel.  The depth at the dock registers (during normal conditions) 11 to 12 feet.

Or you can always pull up on your bike.  You'll see us from the bikepath.  We have 12 vertical bike racks that will keep your bike safe and sound while you enjoy a little rest.
